Early Access. Commands and behavior can change between releases.
The Software Factory turns your board issues into reviewed pull requests. Each stage runs as an agent session. Run it locally with Architech or on Mutagent Cloud. One agent plans, another builds, a third reviews. By default, you approve the plan and the merge.

What you configure

One file, .architech/factory/factory.yaml, describes your board, repositories and policies. Commit it. Onboarding writes it in local mode when you pick a board. Review it before you use it on Cloud.

Run locally

Work from an Architech session in your project. You drive planned work through the orchestrator and its agents. Start with mode: local.

Run on Mutagent Cloud

Stages run in sandboxes, and agents reach GitHub through the GitHub App. You turn on board pickup, watch runs, and answer approvals and questions. Pushing the file to Cloud sets mode: cloud.
Cloud runs use your workspace’s model providers. A local Factory is not a self-hosted Mutagent Cloud.

Quickstart

Set up one repository, then pick local or Cloud.

Configure your Factory

Keep your board. Make the file match it.
